Victoria

Private tour in a luxury coach around the historic city of Victoria, see the houseboats at Fisherman’s Wharf , the Inner Harbour, Paliament Buildings and the legendary Empress Hotel. Then tour through Canada’s oldest Chinatown, pass by James Bay heritage community and pass by the home of famous artist Emily Carr. 3 Luxury Wine Tour – 6 hrs $445
Cowichan Valley Wine Tour:
We will start out at 10:00 am, and driver over the beautiful scenic Malahat drive. We will stop briefly for photos and make our way to our first vineyard. We will visit a 3 Vineyards. (The vineyard locations will depend on who is open for tastings for the date booked).
Each stop may take up to 1 Hour depending on the size of the group and allow for wait times.
Lunch is recommended at Unsworth Bistro, or Merridale Cidery Bistro.
From there we will enjoy a scenic country drive to our last vineyard and finally make our way back to Victoria.
Saanich Wine Tour:
We Depart Victoria at 10:30 am and head out to the scenic Saanich Peninsula. I recommend our first stop at Sea Cider and experience some of Vancouver Islands best Ciders, and incredible views.
We will then make our way to Church and State Winery for tastings and lunch. They offer some of Vancouver Islands best wines. After that we will make our way to De Vine to experience their Spirits and or Wine, and amazing views.
4 Tour of waterfalls, Cathedral Grove Rain Forest and Coombs Country Market – 8 hrs – $675
This is a full action packed day of outdoor adventure at its best.
You will get to enjoy a scenic drive up island past Nanaimo to the Coombs area where we will experience some of Vancouver Islands best scenery.
First we will visit the Englishman River Falls, we will take a short hike up and down the falls to capture some exciting photos.
After that we will visit the country Village of Coombs which is famous for the Coombs country market with the goats on the roof.
We will most likely enjoy a nice lunch at this spot and from there we will proceed to the Little Qualicum Falls to explore the upper and lower falls.
We will then make our way to Cathedral Grove, an enchanting rain forest with some of the oldest trees on the island dating back over 500 years old.
From there we will make our way back to Victoria.
5 Christmas Lights and Gardens Tour 4 hrs 30 mins
Experience a magical night out viewing some of the top Christmas light displays around Victoria as we make our way to the gardens.
The Butchart Gardens create a 12 days of Christmas theme around the estate with a magical light display.
There is an outdoor skating rink set up as well so, skate rentals on site for your full winter wonderland experience.
Enjoy your choice of a daytime or night time setting of the Butchart Gardens, or time it right and experience both.
We will start out by grabbing a hot Timmy’s hot chocolate for each passenger as we make our way to some of Victoria’s best light displays, both downtown and in the residential neighborhoods.
We then then make our way to the Butchart Gardens where you will be dazzled by the winter wonderland they have to offer.
6 Historic Victoria 8.5 hrs $645
Perfect for history lovers! We will start out by stopping by the historical Hatley Castle. Which was built by James Dunsmuir in 1908, who commisioned Samuel Maclure, a Victorian architect to design the Castle. It is now the administrative centre for the Royal Roads University. From there we will journey through Goldstream Park, home to some 400 yr old cedar trees.
After we will enjoy a scenic journey over the beautiful Malahat Drive as we make our way to the Historical Kinsol Trestle.The Kinsol Trestle is one of the highest wooden trestle’s in the world. It was completed in 1920, and just recently restored for our viewing pleasure. This is a very easy 20 minute hike from the parking lot. After we explore the trestle we will enjoy a beautiful scenic drive through Cobble Hill to have lunch. After lunch we will enjoy a scenic drive to Chemainus, the historical seaside community with murals. From there we will have about a 1 hours drive back to Victoria.
7 Maritime and National Defence Tour 6 hrs $560
Enjoy a day out taking in some beautiful historical sites as we go visit the Hatley Castle , now a National Historic site on the grounds of the Royal Roads University.
The Hatley Castle was built in 1908 by James Dunsmuir for his personal resident, later to be sold and used as a Naval officer training establishment in 1940.
After we will go visit Fort Rodd another National Historic site,
Fort Rodd is a 19th century coastal artillery fort, as well as home to the Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in western Canada, built in 1860.
From there we go have lunch on the water at Canada’s oldest brew pub Spinnakers, known for their great beer and home made chocolate. (location may be altered to customers requests). From there we will go visit CFB Esquimalt, Canada’s west coast navy base. We will stop to over look the ships as we make our way to visit the Naval and Military museum. Iftime permits we can stop by to hike around Macaulay Point, a historical site for the National defense.
8 Vancouver Island Sooke to Port Renfrew 8.5 hrs $675
Discover the beautiful scenery from Sooke to Port Renfrew on this scenic tour of Vancouver Islands southwest coast. This tour is for the real outdoor adventure seekers. This is an action packed adventure customized to the guests requests and level of adventure. You may choose to sit back in luxury and enjoy a nice scenic drive of Vancouver Islands back country and scenic coastal views, or you may choose to have the option of getting out to explore some of our gorgeous sandy beaches, rocky coastlines, and old growth forests that are home to some of the world’s oldest and largest trees.On this tour we will see Sooke, French Beach, Jordan River, China Beach, Botanical Beach, Port Renfrew, and possibly Avatar Grove.

Adventure 1
Helicopter to ancient Glaciers and fly to a secret desert island for dinner amid the glorious Pacific
Visit ancient glaciers in a private helicopter then dive down to a remote ‘secret’ island where dinner is served on the white sand beach. Wander like Robinson Crusoe as you sip champagne absorbing the magic.
Starting at sea level, your private helicopter will cruise up to the peaks of Mt. Ursus, with breathtaking views of Clayoquot Sound and the wide open Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. See ancient glaciers from the air and discover deep inlets carpeted with old growth rainforest, as you fly toward the glacial peaks of Strathcona Park. Then step out into the snow and bask in the surprising warmth of this spectacular alpine location.
These Glaciers are at least 10 000 years old and were borne 80 000 years ago at the beginning of the ice age. After viewing the glaciers from an altitude of 5500 feet you head down towards the coast with an eagle’s eye view of the spectacular coastline and a chance to see whales from above – a truly unforgettable experience.
In the distance see a desert island gem, a small secret island, surrounded by white sands and, down you go, landing on the pristine remote beach. As the helicopter leaves, we serve you a delicious dinner, on beach blankets with pillows, and leave you for a while to lie back and enjoy a view of this remote, magnificent and magical place few people on earth have ever seen.
After a while, the helicopter returns and you journey back to the village of Tofino across the ocean, keeping an eye out for sea lions and bears.

Ocean Harvest: Travel Tofino’s historic waters and harvest the abundance of the sea. Meet a native diver who dives for scallops for you. Enjoy your days catch in a gourmet feast prepared for you at a remote and beautiful bay.
The night before your Ocean Harvest trip, the Westcoast crew go out on a boat and put down shrimp nets and crab traps ready for your ocean adventure. In the morning, step into a sturdy fishing boat, leave Tofino Harbour and head for the waters of Bedwell sound where Captain Cook and Cortez once roamed. There you pull up crab traps and shrimp nets, and fish for wild salmon and halibut with expert guidance from the skipper. Here you will be joined by a native diver who joins you in his boat, and who will dive for sea urchins and scallops for you to taste, and share with you his wide knowledge of the abundance of life underwater. While hearing the skipper’s tales of this wild coast, you head to a remote dock in a beautiful bay at the top of the Sound, where we will prepare a feast for you of the sea-life you have harvested that day. Amid this world of natural beauty, enjoy the tastes and abundance of the ocean complimented by fine wines and delicious salads and a tasty dessert. Take a wild life safari followed by a remote kayaking adventure at Shelter Bay with a gourmet beach feast
This inspiring trip takes you out onto the big Pacific first where you journey amid sea lions, seals and whales with an abundance of sea-birds sand then on to a spectacular remote bay where a skiff will have delivered your private kayak guide and your kayaks to the middle of the bay. There in the middle of the bay you will be helped to step out of the boat right into your kayaks. The guide will then take you for a paddle to explore this deserted, wild, beautiful place, sharing with you their knowledge of the coastal waters and small islands you see around you. When you wish to have lunch, just say, and the skiff will deliver your food to any location you see that you like. Here we will set up your feast, made up of a palette of coastal delicacies and fine wines, and we leave you for a while so you can enjoy the pristine beauty of this quiet oasis. After lunch the skiff will pick you up at the beach and take you to the boat which will return you to Tofino at a leisurely pace enjoying a different scenic route back to port.

Paddle in a traditional handcrafted First Nations dug-out cedar canoe, with a your private Nuuchahnulth guide and support paddlers, to the World Heritage Site of Meares Island. Recently featured across the UK on the BBC’s George Clarke’s AMAZING SPACES ‘Snow Special’, this fun day trip igloo experience takes place in the beautiful Coast Mountain Range, just a short drive from Vancouver.
In the mountain parking area you will meet your igloo instructors, who will fit you into your snowshoes, and then guide you a short way onto the mountain where you will build your igloo. Once at your mountainside location, you will listen and learn how to build an igloo. Once you know what you are going to do, igloo building begins and your instructor works with you so that you build and we help. This incredible process takes about two to three hours, at which time you will have built your beautiful igloo. Once built, its time to enjoy some snacks and a warm drink while passing skiers stop to admire your fine craft.

From Whistler Village you are taken to the dog sled site where you meet your friendly mushers and cuddly sled dogs. Snuggle into your sled and off you go on a whirlwind ride though pristine snow valleys. At the end of that wonderful experience, you meet your igloo team and we show you how to build your own igloo. There, in a pristine snow meadow you learn how to , and actually build, your very own igloo. Sculpting the snow blocks and building this ancient structure will truly inspire you. See ancient glaciers from the air and discover deep inlets carpeted with old growth rainforest, as you fly toward the glacial peaks of Strathcona Park. Then step out into the snow and bask in the surprising warmth of this spectacular alpine location.
These Glaciers are at least 10 000 years old and were borne 80 000 years ago at the beginning of the ice age. After viewing the glaciers from an altitude of 5500 feet you head down towards the coast with an eagle’s eye view of the spectacular coastline and a chance to see whales from above – a truly unforgettable experience.
In the distance see a desert island gem, a small secret island, surrounded by white sands and, down you go, landing on the pristine remote beach. As the helicopter leaves, we serve you a delicious dinner, on beach blankets with pillows, and leave you for a while to lie back and enjoy a view of this remote, magnificent and magical place few people on earth have ever seen.
After a while, the helicopter returns and you journey back to the village of Tofino across the ocean, keeping an eye out for sea lions and bears.

Adventure 2
Ocean Harvest: Travel Tofino’s historic waters and harvest the abundance of the sea. Meet a native diver who dives for scallops for you. Enjoy your days catch in a gourmet feast prepared for you at a remote and beautiful bay.
The night before your Ocean Harvest trip, the Westcoast crew go out on a boat and put down shrimp nets and crab traps ready for your ocean adventure. In the morning, step into a sturdy fishing boat, leave Tofino Harbour and head for the waters of Bedwell sound where Captain Cook and Cortez once roamed. There you pull up crab traps and shrimp nets, and fish for wild salmon and halibut with expert guidance from the skipper. Here you will be joined by a native diver who joins you in his boat, and who will dive for sea urchins and scallops for you to taste, and share with you his wide knowledge of the abundance of life underwater. While hearing the skipper’s tales of this wild coast, you head to a remote dock in a beautiful bay at the top of the Sound, where we will prepare a feast for you of the sea-life you have harvested that day. Amid this world of natural beauty, enjoy the tastes and abundance of the ocean complimented by fine wines and delicious salads and a tasty dessert. Look around you and enjoy this silent and wondrous place. As you journey back to Tofino sipping champagne see eagles and bears as they too have been harvesting for their food.

Adventure 3
Take a wild life safari followed by a remote kayaking adventure at Shelter Bay with a gourmet beach feast.
This inspiring trip takes you out onto the big Pacific first where you journey amid sea lions, seals and whales with an abundance of sea-birds sand then on to a spectacular remote bay where a skiff will have delivered your private kayak guide and your kayaks to the middle of the bay. There in the middle of the bay you will be helped to step out of the boat right into your kayaks. The guide will then take you for a paddle to explore this deserted, wild, beautiful place, sharing with you their knowledge of the coastal waters and small islands you see around you. When you wish to have lunch, just say, and the skiff will deliver your food to any location you see that you like. Here we will set up your feast, made up of a palette of coastal delicacies and fine wines, and we leave you for a while so you can enjoy the pristine beauty of this quiet oasis. After lunch the skiff will pick you up at the beach and take you to the boat which will return you to Tofino at a leisurely pace enjoying a different scenic route back to port.

Adventure 4
Paddle a First Nations Cedar Canoe with a native guide to the Meares Island World Heritage Site, for a guided hike with a First Nations guide, amid 1000 year old trees.
Go back in time to when this entire region was inhabited only by the First Nations people of the Tla – o –qui –Aht Nation. Paddle in a traditional handcrafted First Nations dug-out cedar canoe, with a your private Nuuchahnulth guide and support paddlers, to the World Heritage Site of Meares Island. This sturdy traditional form of transportation has been the main way of getting around on the west coast of Vancouver Island for many thousands of years, and this adventure will give you a unique opportunity to not only experience, but to hear about local indigenous history, traditional ways of life, changes through time, and Nuu chah nulth stories directly from your First Nations guide who will share traditional song and stories of their people.

Journey to a magical floating island. Dine with one of the last pioneer families on the coast
Step into the comfort of your private motor yacht and meet your expert skipper. Journey through the historic Tofino waters to a truly magical place.
Catherine and Wayne Adams floating world is an array of unique and colourful buildings that will unleash your imagination. A relaxing boat trip through through the calm waters of Bedwell Sound, named after Royal Navy Staff Commander Edward Parker Bedwell in the late 19th century, takes you past spectacular natural scenery, and gently brings you to the entrance of Freedom Cove.
You will see this totally unique, vibrant artistic world floating in the bay, and your charming hosts, Wayne and Catherine will be on the dock to welcome you. Truly one of the last pioneer families on the coast.
Step onto the dock and into an enchanted world of living art, moving sculpture, gardens, walkways and unique ‘Hobbit’ buildings complete with a Lighthouse shower!
Wayne and Catherine will personally show you their private world where you will learn how they live in this remote off-the-grid and share dinner on the dock while you hear their stories.
